Ui 3 Sleeve Packaging
The Ui 3 is a fine ceramic self-heating mug that keeps your drink at the perfect temperature. Its heating pad doubles as a charging pad for electronic devices as well. The Ui 3 is a symbol of elegance and simplicity, with its minimalistic yet futuristic design. The goal of this project is to create sleeve packaging for the new version of the Ui while keeping the same elements from its previous design.
The Original Design
Phase 1:
I initially started with the original design and began playing around with the shape.
Phase 2:
Next, I wanted to try and make it look more abstract by creating gradient shapes.
I decided to go back to the same style as the original design because I felt like I was straying too far from it. This time I adjusted the color to be more vibrant and was inspired by Picasso.
Phase 3:
After many iterations this design was finally approved. It shows the product in a artistic yet non-literal way while getting the message across that it is a mug on a heating pad with a red LED light.
